Your graduates produce research the world needs. Most of it never leaves the repository.
Every year your department’s scholars finish work that could inform policy, practice and public debate. It is read by an examiner, filed, and forgotten. A University Partnership turns a cohort’s research into published books, with your department credited and every author’s name on the cover.
Writing your own dissertation up as a book? Go to Scholar.
A thesis is not a book, and a repository is not a readership.
Your department invests years in each graduate. The result is a PDF in a database that policymakers, practitioners and journalists will never open. The research is sound. The format is the barrier. Rewritten for readers beyond the examination room, the same work can do what it was always meant to do.
Four steps, from cohort to launch.
A cohort conversation
We begin with discovery sessions for the whole cohort, so each scholar’s argument is clear before any writing starts.
Manuscript support
We work with up to six scholars at a time, shaping each dissertation into a book in the author’s own voice.
Editorial, design and distribution
Every book is edited, designed and printed to international standard, with a proof copy before release, and made available on Amazon and through our print partners.
Your launch
The department presents the books at a moment it chooses. Three months after publication, we send an impact report.
A partnership runs for a minimum of six months.
Honest credit, in both directions.
Storicracy is credited as editorial partner in every book. Your university is named where each author belongs to it. We never say an institution endorses us, because a partnership is a service you buy, not a seal you lend.
What every book is, and is not.
The scholar is the author.
The name on the cover is theirs, and so is the argument.
We say what it is.
These are books for readers beyond academia. We never present them as peer-reviewed publications.
Every manuscript is checked.
Originality checks and an editorial quality review come before any book is released.
Come if you lead the people who do the research.
Deans and heads of department
Who want their graduates’ work to reach readers.
Graduate schools and research offices
Who run programmes with a cohort of scholars.
Research funders
Who want the work they paid for to be read.
Tell us your cohort. We will tell you the programme.
In a free consultation we ask how many scholars you have, what they are researching and what the department wants the books to achieve. Within 48 hours we send a proposal with scope, timeline and cost.
